Google Suggests it May Rank Sites based on Loading Speed
According to Mashable, Google’s Matt Cutts hinted this past week that Google is considering using a site’s speed as part of the algorithm that ranks the order of pages in its search results. Fast sites might rank higher, while slower-loading sites might suffer.
This could have a big impact on many small businesses. Many businesses that do have a web site, have pages designed primarily for visual appeal. These pages are often slow loading, even in an era of broadband Internet.
With LocalNdex, not only are pages designed to give quick text-rich results, but the LocalNdex server is optimized in such a way that it delivers pages much faster than most shared-hosting servers that may host individual web sites.
This could have a big impact on the advantages of LocalNdex.
Stay up with this blog at u.bizndex.com. We will be keeping up on this issue and all issues that effect LocalNdex web sites.
